TLC ‘7 LIttle Johnstons’ Spoilers finds that perhaps the Johnstons were trying to prepare everyone for the apocalypse when they went on a retreat with the whole family. On TLC’s, 7 LIttle Johnstons, we saw the family getting out of their house for a weekend getaway. This wasn’t what everyone was expecting, but Amber Johnston was ready to take the family on a camping trip. She wanted to be sure that they all got some good, quality time together. She gave them one condition for this trip and it was to leave your technology at home! Amber wanted everyone to get off of social media, at least for the weekend. Here is how it went.

When Amber told her family that they needed to leave their phones at home, Trent Johnston was very upset. Amber mentioned to cameras that Trent is always on his phone and she sees it as a problem for him. He can’t focus on anything but his phone according to her. Amber brought a special locker with her to the camping trip and didn’t tell anyone the code to get into it. She wanted to see just how long her family can last without phones.

The Johnston kids seemed miserable without their phones. None of them could even find one thing to be happy about while they were on this trip. Trent decided that he would teach them a little more about being out in the wild! He has already taught them how to make a fire, so he decided to teach them how to make their own shelter. They struggled with this idea quite a lot and none of them really wanted to do it.
Overall, the Johnstons ended up having a really good time on their trip. There was a lot of complaining about how they couldn’t use their phones, but once they started getting used to being out in the open, most of the kids found a silver lining to it all. Amber and Trent loved getting this time together with their family and they thought that they made some great memories! Camping isn’t easy, especially for kids without their phones!
