‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) is doing better than many of us would have thought. He seems to genuinely be happy to be home and to be with his son. When he first came back, it looked like he would be struggling a bit more with everything.

Is that struggle quietly building, though? We’ve had moments where it looked like Chance might break, but he keeps it together. For instance, today with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), when he asked for shared custody, it looked like he might break, but he held it together.

However, I think it’s slowly building up inside, and it won’t be long before we see Chance break. He’s been through so much already and for him to return home to a new child, new life and try to move past what happened is going to take a lot more than a few weeks and the ‘good graces’ of Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).

I’m not sure what’s going to tip the scales, but I do think it’s right around the corner, and unfortunately, Abby may be the one who has to take the force of it… unless Devon is there. Which raises the question, could we see a Chance and Devon argument/fight like we saw between Devon and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)?

With Devon wanting shared custody, and Abby and Chance looking like they want no part of that, it’s going to cause a lot more tension than was already on Chance!

What do you think? Will Chance have a breakdown soon or do you think he’s going to keep up the charade for a while longer? Let us know in the comments below.
