‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) feels immense guilt for killing Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
But she’s not about to let that guilt cause her to do something irrational like confess to a crime she committed.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Caught Sharon Snooping
When Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) walked in on Sharon snooping around in her hotel suite, she was not the least bit surprised. Phyllis accused Sharon of looking for the evidence she said she had.

Sharon accused Phyllis of fabricating evidence to frame her for Heather’s murder, and Phyllis spat back at her, saying she was the one who planted Heather’s phone and bloody towels in Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) apartment.
Sharon said that Phyllis is just using Daniel’s predicament to carry on her vendetta against her. Phyllis called Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to come to her suite immediately.
Once Chance arrived, Phyllis said Sharon had been snooping around her room before she walked in, proving she was guilty. Sharon told Chance that she didn’t trust Phyllis not to fabricate evidence to point the finger in her direction and free Daniel.
Ultimately, Chance let Sharon go because he thought Phyllis was out of control. Even though Phyllis is right about Sharon having killed Heather and framing Daniel, no one believes her.

Sharon has been mentally unstable for months now and is on medication after a long period without it, but it can take a while for medication to work.
Sharon may decide she needs to confess her sins out loud. In Sharon’s fragile mental state, she could go to Heather’s grave and spill her guts about what she did to her and how sorry she is.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Could Record Sharon’s Confession
Despite Sharon’s regret, it’s not stopping her from continuing to lie to the police and go along with the ruse that Daniel was the one who murdered Heather.
Phyllis knows Sharon killed Heather, but she can’t prove it. So, when Phyllis decides to visit Heather’s grave while Sharon is visiting, she could easily overhear a graveside confession.
Red has been determined to find proof that Sharon did this. If she happens to hear Sharon pouring her heart out about what happened the night Heather died and what she did to protect herself from prosecution and imprisonment, Phyllis will want to go to chance with the information.

However, Phyllis is smart enough to realize he likely won’t believe her. Everyone can see that Phyllis will stop at nothing when it comes to Sharon.
Maybe if she follows Sharon, she’ll have the forethought to record her confession. However, if she presents the recording to Chance, he may argue that Sharon could have convinced herself that she murdered Heather because Phyllis pushed her so hard.
Phyllis once suggested that Chance shouldn’t be on this case, and she’s right, as he can’t be impartial. Chance, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Sharon’s children would never believe that Sharon killed Heather.
No one believes Sharon killed Heather. However, Phyllis won’t rest until the whole world discovers what she already knows: Sharon is guilty. Sharon framed her son. Phyllis won’t hesitate to take Sharon down.
