‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may end up on team Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and double-cross Victor Newman (Eric Braden).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Wants Lily To Feign Interest In A Reunion With Cane
Lily is playing a dangerous game with Cane, as Victor asked her to lead Cane on and make him think that they could get back together.

Cane has made it clear that he’s determined to win her back. Victor thinks that if Lily pretends that she’s open to a reunion, he’ll tell her the truth about whatever he has planned for Genoa City.
However, it wasn’t even a year ago that Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) misled Lily into believing that she would eventually score the CEO position of Chancellor.
The couple took the company from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and coerced Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton) into selling Chancellor when she wasn’t in any condition to make that decision.

We are baffled as to why Lily would even agree to work with Victor after what he and his wife did to her.
Victor and Nikki betrayed Lily, and she shouldn’t soon forget that. Lily could play Cane like a violin if she wanted to, but we think she may feel guilty if she betrayed the father of her children.
We also suspect that Cane may not want Chancellor all to himself, but to try to make amends to Lily. He could promise her the sole CEO position, and unlike Victor and Nikki, he would actually keep his word.
Cane is serious about taking over Genoa City, but Lily is his weakness. He would literally do whatever it took to win her back.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Cane Could Promise Lily The CEO Position At Chancellor
In the August 14th episode of Y&R, Lily made a deal with Cane. She told him that she would help him talk to their children, Charlie and Matty if he told her the whole truth about what he was doing in Genoa City.
Cane may take the bait, but we also believe that once Cane is finally honest with her, she’ll ultimately change her mind about siding with Victor.
Additionally, if he promises her the top seat at Chancellor, she’ll eagerly switch teams. Cane’s ambition may seem a bit lofty and beyond ridiculous.
However, if Lily decides to find out what Victor is planning and reports back to Cane, they will have a significant advantage over the Mustache.

Victor has involved his son, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), in his scheme to get Cane to back off from Newman. He informed Nikki that he plans to offer Cane Jabot. We can see this causing significant trouble in Victor and Nikki’s marriage.
Victor also thinks that if Nick tries to befriend Cane, he’ll be fooled into trusting him, which is a foolish plan if you ask us. Cane will likely see that coming from a mile away.
We predict that Lily may initially agree to trick Cane, but she’ll ultimately fall back in love with the billionaire mogul. Over time, Lily won’t be able to resist Cane’s charms.
