‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) saw Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) for the first time in months.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Claire Told Jordan Everything She Wanted To Hear
In the January 14th episode of Y&R, Claire suspected she spotted her psychotic aunt Jordan and followed her to the park, and they finally came face to face.
In the January 15th episode, Claire did some quick thinking and gave a masterful performance. At first, Jordan questioned whether Claire would call the police or report to the Newmans that she had run into her.
That’s when Claire told Jordan how lost and lonely she felt with the Newmans. She “admitted” to Jordan that she was right about them.
She talks about how the Newmans used their power and influence to get what they wanted and treated people like they were disposable.
Jordan was delighted that her niece had finally come around to her side. She told Claire she didn’t know how long she’s been waiting to hear those words.
Claire also assures her that she won’t inform Victor Newman (Eric Braden) that she saw her because she doesn’t want Victor to “hunt her down.” She sucked Jordan right in and told her everything she wanted to hear.
When Jordan questioned Claire’s relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Claire explained that he’s the only person she can be herself around. Plus, he’s an Abbott and understands how corrupt the Newmans are.
Claire also lies that Jordan is the only person she should have trusted and that Jordan can trust her since she came alone and promises not to share Jordan’s secret.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Claire Will Let Victoria And Nikki Know She Saw Jordan
Jordan becomes overwhelmed with emotion as tears stream down her face. Claire sheds a few crocodile tears and embraces her crazy aunt.
Claire is obviously playing Jordan like a fiddle. She loves her new family, and her loyalty is with them. Spoilers show that Claire will break the news to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that Jordan busted out of prison.
The family may realize that Jordan and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) have been working together this whole time. Claire may ask her mother and grandmother not to bring Victor into this since spoilers hint that Nikki keeps a secret from Victor.
We think Claire is trying to set up a trap for Jordan to deal with her once and for all. After all, Claire set a trap for Nikki before she switched to team Newman. She knows how to lie and deceive since she learned from the best.
That being said, Claire’s plan to trap Jordan may backfire. What if Jordan figures out her niece isn’t honest about her disdain for the Newmans, and she follows through with her plan for revenge?
Jordan could also tell Ian she saw Claire, and he could warn her that she was falling into a trap and not to believe a word Claire said.
Jordan could also kidnap Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) or try to kill Victor. We think Claire may be in over her head.
