‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) must make a difficult choice. Billy promised to work more and claimed he’d schedule a couples counseling session, but that doesn’t guarantee he’ll show up.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) might contact Billy just before they are scheduled to meet for therapy with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Chelsea may need Billy’s assistance with a dilemma.

Fans of Y&R are aware that Chelsea is recovering and that there will be other obstacles to overcome. Now that she is aware of the severity of Billy’s issues with Lily, Chelsea is making an effort not to rely on him excessively. Billy, more than anybody else, is the one who can make Chelsea feel more at ease. He became Chelsea’s savior when he prevented her from jumping off the rooftop on that tragic night. Billy is compelled to keep his promise to see Chelsea through the rocky path ahead, whatever the cost.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) Choose Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) Over Couple’s Counseling?

Without a shadow of a doubt, Billy would immediately leave couples therapy if he felt Chelsea was in danger. Billy might receive some last-minute text updates from Chelsea and leave Lily with unfavorable information. He struggles to distinguish between a true emergency and a less serious situation that someone like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could manage. Of course, he might have overreacted in this situation and abandoned Lily unnecessarily.

In any case, Billy is about to blow it with Lily and is on his final chance. Why would anyone imagine that Billy’s attempt to mend things with Lily would be successful when even he is aware of his constant shortcomings? Billy could lose Lily for good over a move like that since it will say volumes if he misses his couples therapy appointment. If Billy had a Chelsea-related defense for his behavior, that might not be sufficient. Billy and Lily might end their relationship permanently if Lily decides that trying again was a bad choice.
