‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers intimate that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton) may have a secret partnership.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Jill Spent Time With Cane And Colin In France
In the August 5th episode of Y&R, Jill returned to Genoa City and immediately confronted Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about his alliance with Cane and Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford).

She condemned him for his business schemes and claimed that she’s rethinking selling Chancellor. Billy also found out that Jill and Cane have been in close contact.
Apparently, Jill has spent some time with Cane and his late father, Colin Atkinson (Tristian Rogers), on his private estate in France.
Cane assured Billy that Jill isn’t in the loop on his plans to acquire every major family business in town. Still, Billy felt betrayed.
We think that there is much more to Cane and Jill’s alliance than meets the eye. Do we sense a potential partnership brewing? Cane is most likely lying to Billy.
Cane’s takeover plot has rocked Genoa City. He’s all about strategy. He’s already had Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) purchase all the real estate in town, even the GCAC.

We have to wonder if Jill is a part of Cane’s crafty plans. Victor Newman (Eric Braden) gifted Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) with Chancellor.
However, what Victor did to convince Jill to sell wasn’t exactly above board, not that we expect the Mustache to be morally sound. Jill is suffering from a heart condition. He used that to get Jill to agree to sell.
Cane wants to reclaim Chancellor. We can imagine he and Jill in cahoots to reacquire the company. After all, Jill once believed Cane was her son.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: It Would Be Fun To Watch Victor Lose For Once
Since Billy’s been nothing but a huge disappointment, we can see Jill continue to embrace Cane. Billy definitely harbors lingering resentment toward Jill for selling Chancellor to Victor.
If Victor plans to fight Jill and Cane in a legal capacity, he may not win. We would jump at the chance to see Victor lose.
The Great Victor Newman finally losing would be worth it, considering the ordeal of sitting through the dark murder mystery and the weird forest of mazes in Nice. Not to mention, we lost two good characters.
The only entertaining part of the whole Paris ordeal was finally seeing Cane come out from underneath the shadows and make his big reveal worth the wait.

Billy Flynn is a fantastic actor and easy on the eyes. Fans have been complaining that he doesn’t hold a candle to the original Cane, Daniel Goddard.
But we beg to differ. Flynn has brought a whole new dynamic and fresh energy to Cane, despite the fact that he’s not Australian. He’s already made the character his own.
Victor thinks Cane is just a punk kid who needs to learn a harsh lesson, but we believe Victor may be underestimating Cane’s business prowess.
Cane isn’t the least bit intimidated by Victor. Since no one has ever achieved much of a victory over the egomaniacal Victor Newman, it should be fun to watch Cane take him down, even if it is only temporary.
