It looks like we’re in for an interesting character building episode for Wednesday, February 5.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will lay out his plans to start his company small and be a positive media source. He’s intent on building something his father would be proud of.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 5: Billy Makes his Pitch to Jack; Phyllis Tries to Sell it to Daniel; Victor Orders Adam to Keep Ian and Jordan News Quiet to Avoid Reporters
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will tell him if there’s any hint of revenge on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) she’s out.
Billy will promise that’s not the plan and she’ll try to convince Danial Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) to join them. Daniel will be resistant, but Phyllis can be persistent.
Speaking of Victor, he’s going to instruct Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to control the narrative around Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk).
He’ll want to keep any news about them out of the media to avoid reporters. We have a feeling this will blow up in his face, and that should be fun.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers love how Billy is going to build something he loves from scratch.
Of course, we expect Victor to do what he can to destroy it because it’s what he does, but we hope the writers give Billy a chance to succeed for once.
Billy will convince Phyllis about his vision. He’ll want to start small and build something that will be solid and positive.
She’ll be onboard with the caveat that if he ever wants to use it for revenge she’s out.
He’ll be good with that and they’ll go their separate ways. He’ll pay Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) a visit and lay out his plan and Jack will be proud of him and they’ll get it started.
Phyllis will have a tougher time convincing Daniel, but we doubt he’ll be able to resist her for long.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, February 5: Victor wants it his way
It didn’t take long for Victor to try to influence reality some more. After having the family lie to the police, he’s going to try to suppress any news on Ian and Jordan.
To do that, he’ll have Adam use Newman Media to keep it quiet and keep the press away. After all, more people nosing around will risk the truth coming out.
At some point, this will come back to bite Victor, especially when someone realizes he uses his media company to protect and shield himself.
