‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t trust his children. They have rolled over and are following his bidding too easily. To him, that means that they have something up their sleeves. What do you think? Is he right about that?

Victor Newman has decided that he needs to be back at the helm at Newman Enterprises. He hasn’t liked the way things have gone and he wants to be in charge again.
To make that all happen, Victor moved Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) to the role of CEO at Newman Media. This put the demoted Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) as her second in command. With Nikki’s move to Newman Media, this left an opening as co-CEO of Newman Enterprises.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was thrilled with this, hoping that her boyfriend, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) could fill the role. Initially Victor offered it to Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) but Nick decided to go and work with Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case) at Kirsten Incorporated.
When Victoria asked who take Nikki’s spot, Victor dropped a bombshell. She would be in the position of second in command and he would be the new CEO. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) would have the opportunity to return at the very bottom as Nate Hasting’s assistant.

Victoria was very upset that she was demoted. She expressed concern about her father’s decisions to both her mother and her brother. She doesn’t think he is behaving rationally in this and in concerned about his health and stress level.
He does have every right to take his company over again, so Victoria must live with it. Or does she? Can she do something that will undermine him?
After initially arguing with Victor about it, she now seems to be accepting it. She says she is no longer angry and will do what she is told.
She does blame Adam for the troubles that Newman Enterprises has had and is shocked that her father is welcoming him back once more. Adam also says he will do has his father has ordered and will be Nate’s assistant.
All of this is putting Victor on alert. Why are Victoria and Adam suddenly so agreeable to all of the changes he has made? Why is it suddenly to easy and accepted without strife? He doesn’t believe he can trust them. What do you think? Are they up so something and will it be big?
