‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been walking the tightrope between Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Sutton Ames (Jack Landron). We weren’t sure who he was telling the truth to and who he was really going to help. However, we finally got our answer today when we found out that Victor is helping… himself.
As it turns out, he may be helping Amanda by proxy but he’s in it for himself and to blackmail Sutton for some cash. Victor is holding the letter hostage and if Sutton wants it, he’s going to have to pay.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) Blackmails Sutton Ames (Jack Landron)
This came as a shock for Sutton, and he wanted to cut to the chase. Victor was very clear that they were both men and knew how this was going to work. He has the letter that only he and Sutton are aware of and could put Sutton away. However, Victor has no allegiances and seems to be okay with letting Sutton get off, in spite of seeming to “help” Amanda.
I would have to assume that Sutton will pay for the letter and keep the proof away from Amanda, but it would be a bummer as it looked like Victor was in Amanda’s corner. Even she was confident that she had his support in the situation, but at the end of the day, money wins.
