Looks like things are going to pick up this week, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to kick it off with a fun episode.
This looks like a definite popcorn episode and we’re going to have plenty on hand as we settle in for some cat and mouse subterfuge and possible betrayals.
Looks like a typical day in Genoa City. Let’s dig in and see what we can find.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 19: Phyllis is on the hunt
Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) is pretty comfortable at having Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and the other Abbotts snowed, but she’s not ready for what’s about to happen.
She doesn’t realize it, and probably won’t until the very end, but she’s really the prey and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is a velociraptor and she’s ready to rend her.
Of course, there’s the thrill of the hunt to go through first, but we don’t think it’ll take too long. At least, it shouldn’t now that Phyllis has something to work with.
This is going to be fun!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 19: Victor’s trap is set
Everything looks like it’s going according to plan as Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) will be walking into Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s trap.
But will it be for him or Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan)?
Victor always has his own agenda, and ‘Young and the Restless’ can’t help but wonder who does he think will benefit him more if he helps them?
Sure, Sutton could come in handy and Victor’s never been a big fan of Amanda, but Amanda has Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) backing her up and Victor’s very fond of him.
Of course, this could all be in our heads that something is up, and it’ll be fun to see which way the trap is sprung. We’re leaning toward Victor helping Amanda and only thinking about double crossing her.
We’re crossing our fingers just in case.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 19: Promises made
Now that their corporate merger is over, Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are going to have plenty of hours together as they fine tune things and grow closer.
During this time, it looks like Victoria will make a promise to Ashland, and we think it’s going to be one she’s going to hold near and dear to her heart.
We think she’ll promise to make sure his son knows all about him and is prepared to take over the company when he’s ready.
She has personal experience with the same scenario, so she’ll want to make it as smooth and easy as possible.
This will undoubtedly be a touching scene to balance out the angst and drama of the rest of the episode and we can’t wait.
What do you think Victoria’s promise will be, and will Victor stand by Amanda’s side?
