‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies to share for Tuesday, January 30.
Things are going to get a bit feisty in the Newman family in the coming days as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be frustrated with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and receiving new about a fire at the prison holding Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) won’t do him any favors.
With plenty to unwrap, let’s grab some popcorn and settle in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Must protect Victor
In a good scene, we expect Nikki and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to have a good back and forth as Jack will want her to tell Victor that he’s her sponsor since he knows Victor won’t like the surprise.
Nikki knows, but she also doesn’t want him to see her in such a weak state. Victor wants to be the one to help her since none of them should need help from anyone not in their family.
Of course, the fact he doesn’t trust Jack is a huge reason and will probably lead to some confrontations down the road, like Victor renewing the war between the families and companies, but we have a minute before it gets to that.
For her own well being and to protect Victor, Nikki needs someone who knows what she’s going through.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect she’ll wear Jack down and he’ll end up enabling her, which will only make Victor more furious as he’ll see it as Jack trying to hurt his family.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Jordan’s escaped?
Speaking of delusional, Victor will receive a call from his security team about a fire at the prison where Jordan was held, but there won’t be any word yet on who died and who escaped.
Since he’ll be sitting and talking with Nikki at this point, he won’t want to worry her and lie about it being a business call.
It definitely looks like they’re setting up a final confrontation between Jordan and Nikki, and not knowing she’s potentially free could end up hindering Nikki’s attempts to protect herself.
Of course, Victor will make sure his security team of Swiss cheese experts will be there to let Jordan get to her, er, we mean, to protect Nikki from harm.
There’s a few ways this can go, and we’re curious to see how far the writers are willing to push the envelope.
