‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the show is going to come to a standstill this week when we witness Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) lose her baby girl! It’s a heartbreaking moment that will be tough to watch, but Courtney absolutely knocks it out of the park with her performance and will set up some interesting storylines to come.
After her baby is born premature, they will experience complications, and unfortunately, will not be able to save the baby.
This is going to completely break Sally, and her performance grieving in the hospital bed is incredible, unfortunately, this will probably create a story of Sally slipping into a depression, and potentially ruining her relationship with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) once and for all.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: TRAGEDY Strikes Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)!
We’ve had to incredible storylines now within the same week, with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) killing Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) and now this, and it has us wondering if this could become the new norm.
Are we prepared to have these huge stories pop up more often, even if they are a bit heartbreaking? Because it definitely adds to the show and we could stand to get out of the office buildings more.
We hope that Sally is able to come out of this strong, but it’s going to be a long journey for her, physically and emotionally. Losing the baby is one of the most emotional moments on the show in recent memory, and could potentially lead to Hope being nominated for an Emmy if she keeps up her incredible performance.
Sally has been strong since coming to Genoa City, and despite constantly being put down and mocked by people, she was obsessed with making a name for herself and being a better person. I hope that this doesn’t break her and that she will come back even stronger.
