The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling.
It looks like we’re getting a fun character building episode for Thursday, July 25.
Devon Winters (Bryton James) will share the news with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about his asking Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to marry him.
Victor will be on cloud nine as he looks at Devon like a son and will happily welcome him into the family.
Abby will have reservations since she has four failed marriages, but Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will reassure her.
After all, Abby’s a Newman. It’s par for the course.
Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will strike back at Kyle Abbott (Micheal Mealor). She’ll get temporary emergency custody of Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).
Things are going to get dicey before too long.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Thursday, July 25: Welcome to the family!
Devon is many things, but he’s always respectful to Victor. Victor and Neal Winters (Kristoff St. John) were good friends, and Victor’s often looked at Devon like his own son.
So when Devon goes to him to tell him about proposing to Abby, he’ll also apologize for not asking his permission first.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers don’t think that’ll matter as Victor will be overjoyed at Devon joining his family.
He’ll want to celebrate the merging of families, so he’ll be first in line to congratulate Devon and Abby.
For her part, Abby’s going to have cold feet after four failed marriages. On a video call, she’ll tell Ashley about accepting Devon’s proposal and admit she had doubts.
We think Ashley will support Abby and prop her up about Devon being the one if he truly makes her happy.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Thursday, July 25: Summer gets a win
Thanks to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s encouragement, Summer will get emergency custody of Harrison.
She’ll drop this bomb on Kyle because she’s afraid he’ll take him out of the country and not come back.
The judge will agree that Harrison shouldn’t leave the country while they have a custody battle going on. It won’t matter to her that Harrison is looking forward to going, she wants a win.
She and Kyle are two sides of the same coin and it’s funny how neither one sees it. With Kyle ready to fight back, we’re sure things are going to escalate quickly.
