Thursday, August 8 is going to be a fun episode as we’re going to see some good character and story development.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will shock Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) by saying he could ask her to leave. Instead, he thought about what she said and admits he’s a liability.
He’ll step back and be a silent partner, but for how long?
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will go off the deep end with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) being diagnosed with food poisoning.
Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) took him to a new restaurant and Kyle’s going to hold her responsible. Get ready for a fight, because he’s going for full custody now.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Thursday, August 8: Stepping back
In a curious move, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect Billy will ask Lily if she still wants him to step away.
She’ll say yes, and he’ll appreciate her honesty, and that’s when he drops the big bomb.
Her telling him that hurt, but after he thought it over he’ll understand her reasoning.
Because of that, he’ll become a silent partner and let her run the company and he’ll come back when things are calm.
She’ll wonder about the time table, but it looks like that’s up in the air.
We think it’s possible he knows Victor isn’t only after him and this will make Victor less aggressive. Once it’s played out, Billy will return either as a savior or to rub salt in Victor’s wounds.
On the flip side, he’ll have plenty of time to dig into Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s secret.
Adam won’t do anyone any favors when he tries to convince Billy to not push Chelsea. It’ll only prove to Billy they’re hiding something, and then it’s only a matter of time.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Thursday, August 8: Kyle’s out of control
At this point, Kyle and Summer both deserve to lose custody of Harrison.
Kyle not only returned from Paris because Harrison had a upset tummy, but he’s refusing to go back.
He’ll feel he never should’ve left his son and trusted Summer.
It’s become beyond ridiculous and we’re expecting things to get far worse before they get better. Especially with Kyle accelerating the custody hearing.
In his mind, Summer taking Harrison to a new restaurant and his son getting food poisoning is enough.
He’s grasping at straws and we have a feeling he or both of them will lose Harrison at this rate.
Did Billy do the right thing by stepping back? Let us know in the comments below.
