‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are one step closer to calling it quits for good. Summer has moved out of the Abbott Mansion as Kyle asked. Now it will be harder for them to communicate and make any moves to work on repairing their relationship.

Y&R’s Kyle is furious at Summer. She hurt him by keeping the news from him that her mother is still alive. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faked her death and pinned it all on Kyle’s mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). When Summer found out that Phyllis had not died she did not tell Kyle about it.
Instead, Summer tried to figure out how she could help her mother get back to town without facing charges. In doing this, she caused Kyle great pain because he kept reaching out to her and she kept rejecting him. She also left Diane languishing in prison for the sake of her own mother. This was despicable to Kyle. He is not sure he can ever forgive Summer.
Kyle feels strongly that Summer isn’t sorry for what she did to protect her mother. He believes she is only sad that she got caught. Diane is forgiving Summer because she feels all the blame goes on Phyllis and not her daughter. However, Kyle believes Summer should have loved him and trusted him enough to tell him about it right away.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Moving Out and Moving On?
Kyle has asked Summer to move out of the Abbott mansion. He wants a time of separation. Summer has agreed to it because she doesn’t feel that she has any other choice. She is the one who hurt Kyle and she has to figure out how to make amends.
It is difficult to explain the situation to their son, Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). It is obvious that he does not understand what is happening. There has been a lot of turmoil in his life recently with the Phyllis and Diane situation and now things are just getting stranger. Kyle and Summer both want to do right by Harrison, but he is not a powerful enough influence to make them work through their issues with each other.
