‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) did not just hook up with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) just to soothe his hurt and anger at Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). It was not just a one-night stand but is turning into something more for Kyle.

Y&R’s Summer hurt and angered Kyle. She found out that her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was not dead. Phyllis faked her own death and pinned it all on Kyle’s mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Instead of letting Kyle know, Summer continued to act the grieving wife and continued to let Diane languish in jail. This is what Kyle does not know how to overcome.
Summer says she is sorry, but Kyle doesn’t believe that someone who loves him could do such a thing. He thinks she is only sorry that she got caught. She willfully chose her mother over his mother but more painfully, she willfully chose her mother over him. He doesn’t know how to rebuild their relationship after this. He has asked her for a separation.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: A Dangerous Diversion
At the Jazz club, Kyle met Audra again. They shared drinks, talked, flirted and danced. They ended up in bed together. Kyle didn’t want to go home, but Audra told him that he had to because she had to work. After Kyle left, Audra did a little research on him. She is already seeing how to use a relationship with Kyle to her advantage, because that is what Audra does.
Kyle isn’t interested in working on his marriage but is getting deeper into this Audra thing. He placed an order for flowers and diamond earrings for her. It doesn’t seem to be about just assuaging his hurt feelings anymore. He is in it for something more. Audra is dangerous though. She always has a purpose or use for the people she is with, and it is never innocuous. Kyle doesn’t know what he is getting himself into.
