Nothing like a brewing war that’s not family oriented to get ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers excited about the outcome.
Of course, things tend to work out, but until then it’s going to be fun to see how far Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) can push before any leverage he has isn’t effective anymore.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 19: Final warning
With a possible war over Jabot looming, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will try to head things off by confronting Tucker and trying to convince him to leave town.
We don’t think Jack will be that direct, but he won’t be willing to be gentle either, especially with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) no longer under Tucker’s influence.
Unfortunately, things are never that easy and Jack’s warning will fall on deaf ears as Tucker has a plan and won’t stop until he wins or is thwarted.
Having the lynchpin of his plan be Phyllis Summers (Michele Stafford) could be his undoing since she’s not reliable under the best of conditions.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 19: Back to the wall
Phyllis is going to have more than a few problems as the job Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) hired her for may not be available now that the company is under new management.
This will lead to her potentially making a deal with the devil as Tucker will be willing to pay her the amount to cover the funds missing from her life insurance after her scam fell through.
It’ll be a tempting offer, but she’s going to be wary when Tucker tells her he wants her to hack into a company but won’t tell her what the company name is.
‘Young and the Restless’ feel safe in saying it’s Jabot, and though Tucker will promise her she’ll be free and clear, we expect she’ll be his fall guy to keep him out of prison.
And given her recent record it’ll be hard for her to prove otherwise.
But this just means she’ll come up with some plan that’s meant to protect her and throw Tucker to the wolves.
She may go to Jack, though he won’t be willing to give her the time of day. What could save her there is Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) not holding anything against her and speaking up for her.
And if she goes off script, we expect some bad things to come down on her from Jack and the rest of the Abbotts.
