‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) hasn’t really changed since she “died”. She does need to experience some consequences to her actions, or she is just going to continue to have this same attitude.

Y&R’s Phyllis has been on the run. She faked her own death and pinned it all on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Diane was arrested and imprisoned for Phyllis’ “death”. When it was finally discovered that Phyllis wasn’t really dead, Diane was finally released.
Phyllis is facing charges in that situation, but she also is facing more serious charges. Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) helped Phyllis to fake her death.
When she wanted “out” because she suddenly realized she could not be without her children, Stark decided she needed to die. He knew it would not be a big deal to kill her since she was already dead.
When Stark attacked her, Phyllis fought back. She ended up killing him with the scissors that he attached her with. The problem is that no one witnessed this fight. Phyllis also didn’t call the authorities immediately and pin everything on Stark.
She stayed in hiding and then Stark’s body was found. Phyllis is facing murder charges as well. Phyllis wants to come back to Genoa City if she has a way to stay out of prison. She doesn’t want to turn herself in until she has a way out of the mess she’s made.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Offer from McCall
Y&R’s Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) wants help from Phyllis. He wants her to help make life messy for Diane again, so that he and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) can work on taking over Jabot.
In order to secure Phyllis’ help, McCall located the EMT that Stark hired to help with Phyllis’ fake demise. He will testify that Phyllis acted under Stark’s coercion and that she acted in self-defense.
In order to get this help from the EMT Carson (Walter Belenky), Phyllis is going to have to get her hands dirty…again. When she finds this out, she hesitates. She doesn’t want to be beholden to Tucker.
She also complains about all of the heartache, pain and suffering that scheming has caused. But even though she says she doesn’t want more people hurt, she agrees. Her skin is always the most important skin.
Anyone who interacts with Phyllis should always remember that she will put herself first in any situation.
