‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been hiding out after faking her own death and trying to pin it on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) so she could pin her to prison after a decades-long grudge.
However, all of it went south when she murdered Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and now she’s between a rock and hard place.
She mistakenly brought her children into it, and now the truth is out as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) questions Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) about how long she knew that her mother was alive. While that is a separate issue, there may actually be an opportunity for Phyllis to redeem herself… Maybe.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) Redeems Herself, Plays Savior For Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case)
There might be a chance that Phyllis could redeem herself by saving Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster).
As we know, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is back in Genoa City and already tormenting Sharon and her family and with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) possibly staying in jail for a while, Sharon could need a guardian.
Phyllis might come into the picture by accident, and only see it as a chance to redeem her name, so whether for good intentions or not, it could be the saving grace that Sharon needs.
We know that Phyllis has no qualms about murdering someone, and perhaps she could be the one who takes out Cameron.
She pretended to be Jeremy’s partner, there is no reason she couldn’t take a fake liking to Cameron and get on in the inside only to turn on him.
While it may not make things better for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), it might at least set the precedent that Phyllis wants to move on and apologize for what she has done.
