‘The Young And the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may be the biggest hypocrite in Genoa City. She is absolutely practicing the rules for thee, but not for me saying. While it appears as though she has been killed, I think we all know that she is working with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and this is simply all part of the plan.
However, what’s completely ironic is her hatred for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and how she faked her own death for so many years leaving behind her child Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). However, Phyllis appears to be completely fine using it in her own playbook!
‘The Young And the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) Is World’s Biggest Hypocrite, “Rules For Thee But Not For Me”
While Phyllis’ hatred has consumed her, we’re slowly watching more and more people fall on #teamDiane and it’s easy to see why. It’s just poor storytelling and the reasoning for Phyllis to be like this is ridiculous! Now, she’s completely destroyed her daughter, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and anyone that has cared about her in a half-hearted attempt to get even with Diane!
It’s hilarious that Phyllis can have so much hate for Diane and what she did and turn around and do that same exact thing. Of course, this is just a possibility, and there is always the chance that Stark is actually double-crossing Phyllis.
She was so bogged down in hate that she would have been the perfect target to take advantage of. Stark surely would have seen this as an opportunity to use Phyllis as a pawn and throw her to the side when he was finished with her.
Now, it will be interesting to see how everyone else reacts to this moment, especially Diane. Will she be glad that Phyllis is seemingly out of her life or feel terrible for Summer and her family?
What do you think? Is there a chance that Stark used Phyllis as a pawn or is she faking her death to pin on Diane Jenkins? Let us know in the comments below.
