‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that ever since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) punched out Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and unintentionally killed him, he’s been replaying the scenario again and again and reliving that moment in his head.

While we can hear the guilt in his voice and especially in the conversation with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), it’s beginning to morph more into a sense of suspicion that things aren’t what they seem. Nick knows he killed Ashland. He may not be able to prove it but he knows that he couldn’t find a pulse. As he’s battling with this, he also knows that Ashland didn’t just get up and drive away. Someone else intervened.

While Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is hot on the case and already beginning to put things together, Nick is caught in the crossfire. While from Chance’s perspective, all fingers point to Nick and Victoria Newman, we know it’s not always that simple. What Chance doesn’t realize is that Nick is putting this together just as much as he is, if only they would realize they’re almost on the same side.

Viewers reacted to the moment saying, “Chance will figure things out, and Victor will guilt and blackmail him to keep quiet in the name of “family” 🙄“, “Victor Newman showed that he’s the baddest of them all.”, “They did too much to Ashland. I can see wanting him away from Victoria but they should’ve still let him see Harrison Locke, supervised but they took everything away. It was too much.”, “Do you see the wheels turning he’s not going to let this go” and “No chance your no Paul Williams so stay in your Lane your to new for this trying to solve this mess.”

What do you think? Will Chance assume it was Nick that moved the body or will they find out together that Victor Newman was actually the one that was behind it? Let us know in the comments below.
