‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has finally seen what his sister is referring to regarding his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). What will the siblings decide to do?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) Has Concerns
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is very concerned about her father, Victor Newman. He made some sweeping changes at Newman Enterprises. He moved Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) to be CEO of Newman Media. This meant Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was demoted to second in command.
Then he demoted Victoria to second in command at Newman Enterprises and decided to take over the company himself. This was quite a blow to her. She couldn’t understand why he would do this, since he was satisfied with the way that she was running everything.
Everyone has been telling her that her worries about her father taking over Newman Enterprises just have to do with the fact that she feels upset at being demoted.
But she truly believes that her father isn’t making sound business decisions. At this point, Nikki Newman doesn’t agree with her and neither does her brother Nick. They think that she just needs to suck it up and let it go.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Newman Sees the Light
At the office, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are with Victor. When they leave his office, he mistakenly called Adam “Nicholas”. When Adam asked him about it, Victor acted like he did not know what he was talking about.
When Nikki asks him about it, Victor says that he did it on purpose to pick at Adam. But when Nick asks him about it later, Victor denies it. Nick accepts this response but then more happens. As he is having a drink with his father, Victor shows some other serious signs of dementia.
Victor says that Victoria is the CEO of Newman Media. He also thinks that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is still expecting Adam’s baby. He doesn’t remember that they lost the baby. There seem to be some significant gaps in his memory and now Nick is really concerned.
What do you think? As Victor left the Athletic Club, he paused and looked at Nick. Did he make it all up to try to see what his kids would do and if they are loyal to him through everything? Or is this really dementia? Share your thoughts!
