‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has gotten the message from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). There is only ONE way to make to the very top of Newman Enterprises. Is Nate interested in making the move that it would require?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Move to the Top
After Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) had to leave the medical profession due to an injury, he became a part of Chancellor-Winters with his cousins Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
But Nate has always been a man of great aspirations. He wanted to be the top surgeon and that was taken from him. So, he turned his attention to rising to the top in the business world.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Mrs. Power-Hungry herself, convinced him to get some information for her about Chancellor-Winters.
They were going to go public, and she wanted to know the details to get in on buying shares. When Lily and Devon found out that Nate had leaked information to Victoria, he was kicked to the curb.
Even though he was kicked to the curb, Victoria quickly scooped him up. She put him in charge of Newman Media. As CEO of Newman Media, Nate was definitely spending more time with Victoria and things heated up between them.
They started sleeping with each other and were making plans in the board room and in the bedroom.
Victoria has even succeeded in ousting her brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) from his position as COO of Newman Media. She has put Nate in his place. Nate has eye on the top, but can he ever get there?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: One Way Open
When Victoria and her mother Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) take off for an emergency business trip, Victoria puts Nate in charge. There is no one in a greater position of power than him at the moment.
He only has Victor’s watchful eye on him. Victor lets him know that he needs to check his ambition. No one except a Newman will hold the top seat at the company.
When Nate shares this with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she sees that there is only one way for Nate to have it all. She suggests that he needs to take his relationship to the “next level” which probably means getting married.
Will that act make Nate enough of a Newman and would Victoria even go for it? Will the Newman family get behind it or will they see Nate for what is really on his mind? What do you think?
