‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that I forgot about Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) being a couple. They’ve been pushed to the back burner so much that we haven’t seen them in forever it feels like.

All we’ve seen lately is Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) pining over baby Dominic and the return of Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd). Everyone else on the show has kind of been put on the back burner for a while.

However, it didn’t look good for Nate, as Elena seemed very surprised and not that interested in moving in with him. The tone and confusion in her voice don’t bode well. Of course, we haven’t really seen these two together too much, and it’s still weird that Elena opted to randomly cheat on Devon months ago.

All in all, I don’t think this is much of a story and the preview was lackluster. If you want us to care about Nate and Elena moving in together you need to give us more of their relationship on screen. They did this with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) as well, except we’ve seen a bit more of them because of the Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) storyline.

I’m not sure what them moving into together will do, but hey, that’s what the writers want so here we go. Let’s see if it actually happens.

What do you think? Do you care at all if Elena and Nate end up moving in together or does this just seem like filler? Let us know in the comments below.
