‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Monday, December 29 will close out the second act with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and nudge along the Abbott’s plans.
Despite Phyllis Summer (Michelle Stafford)’s best lies, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) doesn’t believe her and will refuse to tell her anything.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is more forgiving, and that has Jack wondering what he plans for the AI.
Jack wants to destroy it, but he may feel Billy is thinking of using it to destroy Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Matt will push Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to the point he’ll hit Matt. Nick will offer him $1 million to hand Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) over.
Matt will accept and tell them where Sienna is at after he’s paid. But later on, he’ll consider taking the money and keeping Sienna while killing Noah Newman (Lucas Adams).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, December 29: Billy’s the new wild card
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers really hope the writers let Billy grow and stay grown for once. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has been able to reach him like few others.
But with Billy thinking Phyllis is their best option, Jack will wonder about what he’s thinking.
Billy isn’t above using Phyllis to get his hands on the ai and then turning it onto Victor. While it’s what Victor deserves, we don’t think Billy will go there. Not entirely.
He’ll want to, and he may slip but Sally will pull him back. As far as trusting Phyllis, she can’t help but habitually lie. She’s beyond redemption at this point, but stranger tings have happened.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, December 29: Matt has other plans
We’re surprised Nick listened to Matt’s instructions, and after a back and forth and Nick hitting him, Matt will agree to take the money.
Of course, he’ll have another plan for the third act and his end. He’ll consider taking the money and keeping Sienna.
As for Nick and Noah, he’ll want to kill Noah and let Nick live with that failure.
It’s typical bad guy behavior for a soap opera, and it’ll allow Nick or Noah to end Matt as a threat and save the day.
After all these years, we’d think Nick would know this, but he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed at times. But his aggressiveness could be what saves the day.
Will Billy use Phyllis to get the ai for himself? Let us know in the comments below.
