‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Michael Mealor (Kyle Abbott) may be leaving the show and his character will go on to live happily ever after in Milan with his son and Summer Newman (Hunter Newman), but that doesn’t mean we’re going to stop keeping up with him!
Whether he goes on to do films or finds himself another television show, we’ll be there to cheer him on and see what his next great role is. However, we ran into something else. Not only did he cut off his hair after he was finished with the role, he’s also now growing out a beard!
He shared a photo of himself and his dog with the simple caption,
“Don’t forget to smile.”

Of course, many fans commented on the fact that they had a hard time smiling knowing that they wouldn’t be seeing Kyle Abbott return any time soon. Though, I hold out hope, that like with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), we will still catch glimpses of the character in passing.
About the beard… is this a personal choice or do you think it could potentially be for a new role? It’ll be exciting to see what the young actor does next.
Of course, his cute pup also steels the photo as he lays on Mealor chewing on what looks to be a doggy chew toy!
We hope to see Mealor soon in something and hope to see Kyle Abbott on the show again someday.
