‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show there is no denying the chaos going on in Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) life right now. She appears to be at a crossroads in her career and is not only missing her close friend Rey Rosales, for whom she has developed feelings, but she also kissed Billy Abbott, another man who is already engaged to someone else.
No matter what The Young and the Restless writers have planned for Melissa Claire Egan‘s character, she is as dedicated as they come and will study her “lines pretty much anywhere.” The scene at the CBS Studios features Egan sitting on a toilet in what appears to be the middle of an open set. It is the best to see her sitting there reading her lines while appearing all serious even though we all know there are bathrooms pretty much everywhere in Genoa City.

Victoria Newman‘s character Amelia Heinle commented in the comments section, “That toilet just cracks me up! Whoever sits on a toilet on daytime?” The prop should stay where it is for the most part. Can you picture the characters from the show shouting to someone in the restroom as the camera zooms in on them? Hold on, I’ll be there shortly.
Egan is getting ready for her scenes on the toilet while her character is considering her options. She has felt a little lost and without much to go on ever since returning to Genoa City, especially after losing her podcasting job. We’re interested to know where she’ll go next because it’s left quite a void in her life.
We’re sure Chelsea asks herself this question every day, but to be completely honest, we have no idea. I believe she ought to launch her own podcast if she were a go-getter. She wouldn’t have to deal with the business world, other people, or, ahem, sleeping or kissing other people’s men, so in my opinion, that would be a good place for her to be.
