The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) shocked everyone by putting caution to the wind and kissing Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) while they were in the podcast studio.
Many viewers were taken aback by this moment, which will complicate the relationship between Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and left Chelsea perplexed about what it all meant. They haven’t been close for a very long time, but after a few days of working together, she suddenly feels emotions again.

With Chelsea already being questioned about what exactly happened by her best friend Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson), this incident will undoubtedly cause news to flow throughout the city. Chelsea has pursued other people’s men before, so this is nothing new.
Remember all the ideas and visions she had of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) while he was still with us? Chelsea has been trying to kill anyone she can, and it appears that she has Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) once more in her sights.
Egan spoke with Soap Opera Digest and they asked her why Chelsea could not stop herself from kissing Billy. She responded, “It was his eyes. Chelsea was doing okay because she was telling herself not to look into his eyes, but she did, so she lost her willpower and kissed him.”
It was definitely interesting to hear, and now we have to wonder if she will try to kiss Billy again every time she looks into his eyes. It’s odd of Chelsea to act in this way, but I suppose we have to have some storylines going otherwise it might get dull.
If it were up to me, Chelsea would put off dating and even thinking about men for even longer. I might riot if she starts pursuing Adam again because she has already caused enough suffering and trauma over the past year.
