‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to close the week out in style, and we have plenty of fun and games coming to get us looking forward to next week.
There are a couple of fun looking moments in this episode as the next mystery continues to take the next step and failure isn’t an option for an intrepid duo.
But first we have a mother and daughter pact that reeks of insanity and should put both in prison, or at least a high security mental ward for a while since they need plenty of help.
Let’s dig in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 26: Sanity has left the building
In a move that shows how far Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) have fallen, it’s the pact they’re going to make to do everything they can to keep Phyllis out of jail no matter the cost.
At least, that’s the way it looks like it’s heading since Summer has forbidden her mom from contacting Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) because he’ll send her to prison.
The saddest part is that Summer’s this unhinged because of Phyllis.
Had Phyllis not gone off the deep end herself and faked her death, then decided to hide that she killed Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in self defense to continue punishing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Summer wouldn’t be as desperate as she is.
Eventually, everything will catch up to them, and that’s not going to be a pleasant sight.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 26: Another message
“’Young and the Restless’ are intrigued by who could be sending Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) these mysterious gifts as messages as she get another on in this episode.
We’re sure it’s someone stalking her since everything is so eerie and secretive, and we’re looking forward to seeing if this message will give us a clue as to who it could be.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 26: New business venture
One of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson)’s best qualities is their stubbornness and refusal to back down despite how bleak things look.
Turning down a lucrative job under Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was a risk, but the dynamic duo will be looking to rebound as they set out on a new business venture, and it should be fun to see which company they’re going to make their pitch to this time.
Will Phyllis and Summer realize their mistake before things go too far? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
