‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers hinted that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) might be the one to perform the marriage ceremony uniting his parents.

It’s unknown if and when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will actually tie the knot. Currently, Diane is wasting away in jail, awaiting trial for the ‘murder’ of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). All of the planted evidence points to Diane, and it’s not looking good.
The only person who could possibly have ‘murdered’ Phyllis is Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). He just turned up slicked to death by scissors (what a way to go!). Now Diane believes there is no one who can help and her conviction looks even more likely.
What no one knows except Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and now, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), is that Phyllis is not really dead. Now they are the only people that can help to get Diane off the hook. But if they do that, Phyllis is going to be in a whole heap of trouble. Who is finally going to do the right thing?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: No Stone Unturned
All that Jack knows is that he loves Diane and truly believes that she is not capable of murder. He believes it is all Jeremy Stark’s fault. He is trying to do whatever he can to help. He has hired Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to defend her, and he keeps badgering Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about how to do his job to find evidence exonerating Diane.
Jack also really wants to marry Diane. She wants him to quit coming to jail to visit because it gives her this terrible false hope that she has to keep squashing. Diane really just wants him to leave her alone.
Jack refuses to do that. He is going to keep coming to the jail, even if she refuses to see him. This time he brought someone special to see her. When she asks if it is someone to marry them (which Jack asked of her last time he visited), he says no but he says the person is ordained and has married people before.
It turns out the visitor is their son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). It is possible that he will be the one to perform the marriage ceremony and unite his parents. What do you think? Will he get that job? Will we see him join his parents in matrimony or is Jack and Diane’s relationship doomed?
