‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that during the week of November 10th to 14th, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is set to walk in on Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in a compromising position.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Lily Has Been Very Hard on Cane Since His Return
We have to wonder whether the spoilers are suggesting that Cane and Phyllis have a hot hook-up. It’s obvious there is an unspoken attraction between them.
Yet, the last thing we would expect is for Cane to fall prey to Phyllis’s advances. The week starts with Phyllis boldly facing off with Victor Newman (Eric Braden).
Victor will target Cane’s empire, and his company, Arabesque, will likely crash and burn. We have to wonder, if Cane is really about to enjoy a steamy moment with Phyllis, what exactly is he thinking?
Phyllis stabbed Cane in the back when she took that AI program, even though Cane made it clear he wanted to use it to improve his tarnished reputation and win back the family he’d alienated.
However, Lily is furious that Cane had possession of the AI software in the first place, and she won’t be shy about letting him know it!
Instead of placing the blame directly where it belongs: with Victor, she’ll put Cane on full blast and make him feel guilty.
Lily’s disapproval of Cane never seems to end. She’s constantly berating him and telling him how much he screwed up. It’s her favorite pastime.
In that regard, we can’t necessarily blame Cane for finding temporary comfort with Phyllis. Remember that seductive exchange between Cane and Phyllis at the bar?
They were obviously flirting, even if Cane couldn’t trust her. We predict that at some point, Cane and Phyllis share a steamy hookup. It’s almost inevitable.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Lily Will Likely Be Consumed with Jealousy If Phyllis and Cane Hook Up
Not to mention, Y&R spoilers tease that Phyllis is getting a surprising new love interest very soon. We have a feeling her new bed buddy will turn out to be Cane.
The pair has some potential, and it doesn’t look like it’s working out with Lily and his grand plans to reunite his family.
Besides, it would shake up the story in a perfect way, since much of what Cane has done since arriving in Genoa City has been talking a big game.
His original plan was world domination, but he promised Lily he wouldn’t revert to stealing all the major conglomerates in town.
Also, Phyllis is in desperate need of a new and exciting love interest. She needs a diversion from her usual chasing after Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and insulting Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).
Spoilers also indicate that when Lily spies whatever “compromising position” she finds Cane and Phyllis in, she’ll blow her top.
We can imagine Lily being super jealous if Cane really does cross the line with Phyllis. She may even pull the “I’m the mother of your children” card on him and demand he stop whatever is going on between him and Phyllis before it starts.
It’s time for Phyllis to get her groove back. Perhaps Cane will turn out to be much more to Phyllis than simply a “business partner.”
