Jabot is as ready as it can be for the upcoming attack from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). So, the brothers will start to plan a preemptive strike.
To do that, Jack will tell Billy to offer Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) anything she wants to come to their side.
She may be rudderless morally at the moment, but she’s the best there is at what she does.

She’s digging herself in deeper, and Cane won’t believe a word she says.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, October 29: Going on the offensive
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers love how nothing heals family issues faster than Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) looking to destroy one’s family.
It’s for that reason Jack and Billy won’t miss a beat in moving on from any hurt feelings. With Jabot as safe as it can be tech wise, they’ll turn their attention to going after Victor.
To do that, Jack will ask Billy to promise Phyllis anything she wants. Billy’s not her favorite person, but it’s the best choice they have.
If they can get her help, they may be able to resist the AI. They don’t know it yet, but that’s exactly what Phyllis wants — everyone groveling for her help.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, October 29: Phyllis being Phyllis
It’s no surprise that Phyllis is trying everything she can think of to trick Cane into playing her game.
She’s intent on convincing him Victor stole his AI and that Victor’s coming for him. Cane won’t buy it and will admit he warned the Abbotts.
That’ll confuse Phyllis, and he’ll tell her he’s waiting for her to stab him in the back. She’ll wonder why he doesn’t trust her, but does she really have to think hard for the answer?
We’re curious if Cane will get her to admit what she did, but she’s too eager to prove she’s better than everyone we doubt he will.
At least, not until her plan starts to unravel.
Will Phyllis join the Abbotts or keep marching to her own beat? Let us know in the comments below.
