‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to close the week out in style, and there’s going to be plenty of heightened emotions and decisions being made.
Nothing is ever simple in Genoa City, but that may be due to poor decisions being made at the worst times possible.
But then why complain when we get so much juicy fun out of them? Let’s grab some popcorn and dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 9: Spreading the news
In the wake of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) giving Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) the perfect thing to counter and infuriate Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Ashley and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will announce their engagement.
Of course, the news about Diane’s promotion will dampen their celebration, especially when her being promoted is the exact thing Ashley feared she’d do to take over the company and Ashley will point that out.
This is supposed to be Ashley’s moment of triumph, but ‘Young and the Restless’ have a feeling it’s going to end up in a huge shouting match between her and Jack or Diane.
Wonder if anyone will point out to Ashley that she’s causing her own problems like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 9: Phyllis being Phyllis
Well, things have escalated quickly thanks to Summer Newman (Alison Lanier)’s quick thinking, desperation, and selfishness.
Now that Summer’s convinced her mom to go on the run, Phyllis will have a moment where she can set everything right and end the lunacy she started.
This should be a good scene as the two of them will continue their debate on whether Phyllis should turn herself in or run, and when she sees Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) we think she’ll turn herself in.
At least, we hope she does after all the damage and heartbreak she’s caused.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 9: Nick chooses Sharon
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is stuck between a rock and a hard place as he’s got to choose between the woman he loves and the mother of his children, but it’s no surprise he chose Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
They have a special bond and she’s in greater danger than Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) with Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) prowling around.
Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is there to look after Sally and he has a vested interest. He’ll also probably try to find a way to undermine Nick in this situation so he can try for Sally again.
Nick’s in a no win situation unless he returns and Sharon’s dead, but that’s unlikely to happen. Maybe.
What decision do you think Phyllis will make? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
