‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) will frame Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) for kidnapping Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and possibly more.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Won’t Have An Alibi Once She Leaves The Party
It’s New Year’s Eve in Genoa City. While some people are dressed to the nines and busy celebrating, others are off committing crimes.
While Ian Ward (Ray Wise) was busy drugging Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), Jordan snuck up behind Sharon and chloroformed and abducted her.
Jordan and Ian have the perfect person to take the fall for them: Phyllis. Ian recently overheard the redhead at Society talking about wanting revenge on Sharon.
After Phyllis leaves the party at the jazz club, she no longer has an alibi. If Jordan leaves a trail of clues that lead the police straight to Phyllis, she’s in big trouble. Now Phyllis knows what it’s like to be framed.
Jordan kidnaps Sharon, but her motive may not be to torture her but to set up Phyllis for the crime. Phyllis has been determined to make Sharon pay for what she believes Sharon did to her family.
Phyllis also wrote off her two best friends in the world, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracy E. Bregman), when Michael defended Sharon despite the evidence practically screaming that she was guilty.
At the club on New Year’s Eve, she confronted them when she overheard Michael talking about the new evidence that could get Sharon off the hook. Since the investigation has reopened, Jordan and Ian have a clear path to framing Phyllis.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Would Believe Phyllis Set Her Up
Ian and Jordan will leave enough breadcrumbs behind to point in Phyllis’s direction. Plus, thanks to Sharon’s miracle hypnosis, she remembered that someone else was with her the night Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) was killed, which is the new evidence that’s come to light.
We all know Phyllis would never kill the love of her son, Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Grazaidei) life, but with Sharon about to be cleared, the police must focus on the actual suspect.
With everything Jordan and Ian are doing to make their evil plans come to fruition, they will certainly make sure the cops think Phyllis is the one who committed these heinous acts.
Phyllis has made it no secret that she knows Sharon was the one who killed Heather and framed Daniel. While Sharon did frame her son, she didn’t commit murder.
Sharon would believe that Phyllis orchestrated this whole thing because Sharon and Phyllis have been rivals for decades.
Michael and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may even question whether Phyllis is the true culprit and set Sharon up. However, her kids, Daniel and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), will stand by their mom.
Nick obviously never considered Sharon guilty for a second. However, if the evidence suggests that Phyllis is to blame, he may not know what to believe. But he’ll no doubt search for Sharon once he realizes she’s missing.
Phyllis and Sharon are in grave danger, and Jordan and Ian won’t stop until they satisfy their need for revenge against the Newmans.
