‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers disclose that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has recently confessed to killing Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and framing Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) for the crime.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Faith Blames Phyllis For Sharon’s Confession

Sharon has been sparring with Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford), as her nemesis accused her of murder. Right now, Sharon’s confession makes for a compelling case, as she looks guilty.

Since Sharon also thinks she ran Phyllis off the road to silence her, she feels she doesn’t even recognize herself anymore. Sharon told Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) first, who, of course, leaped to her defense.

Sharon doesn’t want legal representation. She just wants to plead guilty and serve her sentence. That may appease Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Daniel to a point. Fortunately, when Lucy talked to her, Phyllis opened her eyes, which brought hope for her children that she would recover.

We all know that Jordan Howard (Collen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) are responsible for Heather’s death, but right now, everyone thinks Sharon just went off the deep end.

Between her hatred for Daniel over Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) death and her mental health issues, it looks like Sharon spiraled out of control and committed murder.

Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) immediately blamed Phyllis’ crusade against her mom as the reason why Sharon decided to confess.

The accusation could lead to conflict between Summer and Faith. The two sisters have always gotten along, but perpetual animosity between Phyllis and Sharon could cause a significant rift between their respective daughters.
Sharon has also had several blackouts and doesn’t remember killing Heather. While it’s true that she did frame Daniel and was completely lucid when she did it, she didn’t commit the original crime of murder.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Summer Thinks Sharon Is Responsible For Phyllis’s Coma

Phyllis pointed the finger at Sharon as the evidence piled up against Daniel. She lied to the police about what happened the night Heather died, claiming that Heather told her that she and Daniel had been fighting and that she was scared of him.

It was such a blatant lie that Phyllis and Daniel knew something didn’t add up. There is no way Heather would have confided in Sharon anything about her relationship with Daniel.

The two young women could quickly become rivals while Summer believes Sharon is guilty, but Faith knows there’s more to the story.

Plus, if this continues with Jordan and Ian getting away with their evil deeds, and if Phyllis slips back into her coma, it’s not hard to imagine Summer and Faith could have a major face-off.

Phyllis was right about Sharon framing her son for the murder of the love of his life, but Sharon didn’t kill Heather. Apparently, Jordan killed Heather for Ian.

Hopefully, the writers can explain what on earth Jordan and Ian’s motives would be. Spoilers suggest they both want revenge on the same people.

That being said, things will likely only get worse for Sharon before they get better. Meanwhile, Daniel and Summer’s mom is in critical condition. It’s a safe bet that when all is said and done, all will not be forgiven.
