‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoielry goodies to share.
The episode for Tuesday, October 28 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one with some more betrayal and dire warnings.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has us a little curious. She’s going to make a deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to sell him the AI.
She’ll even show it to him, but she won’t deliver it. While she’s obviously waiting for the money, there’s a chance she’s working to show everyone how great she is.
That’s the only twist we can think of, and then she’ll return it to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Until then, Victor will happily plot to destroy Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and take over Jabot.
Speaking of Jack, Cane will pay him and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) that Phyllis stole it and sold it to Victor.
He wants to give them a heads up and claim he can’t do anything to stop it.
This feels off to us, and it will to jack and Diane as well, but they’ll start making preparations.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, October 28: Phyllis makes a deal with the devil
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers doubt Phyllis is meaning to sell the AI to Victor simply because it won’t make sense.
She still cares for Jack and wouldn’t want to see him destroyed, so we think this could be a feint on her part.
She could be looking to stroke her ego or truly out of her mind. It could also be a basic program and when Victor tries it won’t work.
It could even be a Trojan horse and destroy his own network. That would be a pretty cool twist.
The fun thing is he’d do it to himself and he couldn’t rat Phyllis out without getting into trouble himself.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, October 28: Cane’s plan to start fresh
Okay, Cane is playing the role of the aggrieved and sympathetic soul looking to make amends.
This feels off to us for several reasons, and we think he let Phyllis steal the AI. In fact, we don’t think it’s as powerful as he claimed.
This way, his hands are clean, and Phyllis being her typical self will keep her hands clean. So, it’ll let Victor do his thing and probably fall on his face.
Maybe even be arrested for stealing the technology.
This would achieve most of Cane’s goals and he would prove himself to be a top dog in Genoa City.
We don’t see the writers letting Victor go down in anyway, but it would be a cool storyline for him to claw back to power.
