‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) may have worked herself over when she broke and went after Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis pulled the classic children’s move of antagonizing someone until they break, then getting the adults to see the person react.
It’s a trick as old as time and really shows the maturity of Phyllis. Why a lot of you still support her, I’m not sure. I guess because she makes for interesting television, but as a character, she just doesn’t make any sense. However, she has definitely made Diane out to be the bad guy and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) happened to walk in at the right time with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) to see Diane strangling Phyllis.
“Diane and Phyllis’s rivalry reaches a boiling point.”
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Goes Back To Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) After Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) ATTACKS
With Jack and everyone witnessing the attack, we wonder what he will begin to think. Will he really stick by Diane after this or has he had enough of these two fighting back and forth? Some rumors suggest that Phyllis could play the crying victim card and cry her way right back into Jack’s arms!
This would obviously be a huge shock and the fans would get what they wanted when Diane is forced out and Phyllis and Jack could get back together. This isn’t what I want by any means, but based on the comments and conversations I’ve seen… I’m in the minority here.
I hope Diane is able to plead her case to Jack and he’ll believe the truth of what happened and how Phyllis would not back off, forcing Diane into action. Either way, I hope this storyline is over soon. I can barely stand it anymore!
What do you think? Is there a chance that Jack would give up on Diane and go back to Phyllis after everything that she has done? Let us know in the comments below.
