‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that in AA, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will meet Seth (Brian Gaskill), a character who is supposed to help Nikki establish a relationship while she heals. Still, there’s a chance that Seth is involved in some other shady enterprise.
The aftermath raises questions about Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) possible strategies even if her arrest went somewhat well. The ease with which Jordan gave in to the arrest begs the issue of whether she set up certain people in order to lure Nikki back into relapse.
After Jordan’s recent attempt to hurt Nikki was stopped by a sedated Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), Jordan was taken into custody. Nonetheless, it’s conceivable that Jordan has backup plans considering her history of painstakingly organizing retaliation, which includes brainwashing a kid. Jordan could thus not be as lost as it first seems.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Seth (Brian Gaskill) A Plant By Jordan (Colleen Zenk) To Drag Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) Back Down?
Nikki struggles to recover sobriety at the same moment. Though outside circumstances led to Nikki’s relapse, her rescue might serve as inspiration to resist urges. Nikki has to face her sobriety head-on now that Jordan is in jail and her battle is public knowledge. Nikki expresses reservations about defeating this specific demon, despite Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) offer of help.
Even with family support and meeting attendance, Nikki can still feel alone in her struggle. It becomes critical for Nikki to look for compassion and understanding from someone who understands her challenges and the difficult process of facing long-buried traumas.
Nikki raises the possibility of embarrassing secrets by hinting to the return of former demons. Fans wonder whether Nikki would turn on Victor for Seth. Or whether Seth will be instrumental in helping Nikki overcome her obstacles. But a darker scenario is entertained, Seth may be a stooge sent up by Jordan to seduce Nikki not just with drink but also romantically.
