‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that the situation at Newman Media might be more dangerous than anyone thought. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has taken over at the helm again, demoting his daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
He moved his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) to Newman Media. But, have these decisions been good ones? Is there more going on than meets the eye?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victoria Newman’s Concerns
Everyone thinks that Victoria Newman is overreacting to her father’s decision to take over the company again. They believe that she is just hurt that she was demoted and that she needs to accept his decision.
For even though he is getting older and needs to keep his stress under control, he has decided to take over Newman Enterprises. He demoted Victoria and then agreed to let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) start at Newman at the very bottom, even after everything Adam did. Victoria really feels that his decisions aren’t sound.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Interesting Observation
When Adam and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) were talking in Victor’s office, Victor mistakenly called Adam “Nicholas”. He has never called him by his brother’s name before.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is no longer working at Newman, even though Victor asked him to do so. He is not working with his ex-wife, Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case).
Adam and Nate discuss this, surprised at Victor’s slip of the tongue. Adam admits that he has always called him Adam, son, or my boy. They wonder at this and even tell Nikki about it.
She confronts Victor, who tells her that he did it on purpose. He was pointing out that Adam is towing the line like Nicholas always would.
It doesn’t quite seem right though. Is Victor experiencing dementia? If he is, will they be able to convince him to hand over the reins to Victoria again, or will she have to battle him for it? Will they catch an issue before he makes a decision that really hurts the company? What do you think?
