The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers say that while Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has had a hard time seeing eye-to-eye with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), but that doesn’t mean relations between them are as bad as one would think. In fact, actress Melissa Ordway herself says that she absolutely loves the dynamic between Phyllis and Abby. Here’s what she has to say!
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, the blonde beauty admits that while there might have been a time in which Abby would have turned her back on Phyllis, times have certainly changed. Or at least, according to this blonde beauty!

“I love Phyllis and Abby’s relationship,” she told Soaps In Depth in a new interview “I think it’s my favorite relationship that I’ve ever played on the show. They are at each other’s throats all the time, which is so much fun to play!”
And while Abby and Phyllis have certainly lived two very different lives, Melissa believes that they share a lot in common – especially when it comes to their drive to succeed and of course, ultimately get what they want.
“They are two strong women,” she added. “What’s really fun is that Phyllis always thinks that she can one-up Abby, that she’s smarter than Abby and can manipulate her, but Abby is always one step ahead of Phyllis! And I love Michelle Stafford, so any chance I get to work with her is great. She just makes everyone better in a scene.”
