‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to close out the week with some fun spoilery goodies for Friday, May 10 to share.
This looks like it’s going to be an interesting character development episode as some groundwork will be laid for future storylines and tensions will continue to rise in the Abbott household.
With so much chaos happening, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s not going to waste any time in attempting to keep his family away from the Abbotts as he plans his next strike.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will be the first to realize this after he forbids Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) or any of them to be around them.
The fact he has a secret weapon in Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) only makes this more intriguing.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Friday, May 10: Victor’s plan
Since Jordan’s been doing her best to convince Victor that she’ll do anything he wishes if he sets her free, there’s a good chance this either sparked an idea for him.
Of course, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect it was mainly facilitated by Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) saving Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in such a controversial way.
He’s not the only one that has issues with how Jack did it, but he’s the only one convinced Nikki’s fall was on Jack and no one else and refuses to give him any credit.
It comes down to Victor’s bruised ego at Jack being Nikki’s hero and the possible threat of losing her to him, so he’ll look to destroy Jack and may figure out a way to use Jordan for that purpose.
Of course, when Nikki finds out it should be game over and he’ll finally lose the family he’s held in an iron fist.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Friday, May 10: Summer can’t take it
At some point, it’ll be nice if someone intervenes to help Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) before she really goes off the deep end and hurts herself or others by accident.
Until then, she’s going to continue channeling the worst of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as she’ll continue doing everything she can to undermine Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and undermine Claire’s attempts to fit in.
Like with Victor, we think this is mainly Summer’s fear of being replaced since she’s not related to Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) and has no say over him in any way unless Kyle allows it.
Wit Kyle and Claire having good chemistry, we expect this will be a new version of Phyllis’ antics when she was younger and that could be good or bad, depending on the writers.
