‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out in style with some fun spoilery goodies for Friday, February 23.
Things are taking a couple of interesting turns and while one isn’t a surprise, the other seems sudden and we expected there to be something more to it than we got.
There’s always a chance things will get interesting, so we’re ready to dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Ashley’s about face explained
Since Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was in that accident, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have been wondering if she had a mental break or was playing things up.
It looks like she’s going to admit to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) that she talked to a friend of her in Paris who happens to be a psychiatrist and she’s accepted that she made up Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John)’s aggressive response to get out of their marriage.
It’s a curious twist that caught us off guard, and it feels like lazy writing to have her have one conversation and now she’s not hearing voices anymore?
We’re not buying it and we doubt Traci will, and she’ll be concerned enough to try to help out before Ashley makes a huge mistake.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Victor’s at it again
It looks like Victor Newman (Eric Breaden) will continue to push to make his plan work, and the next step is to talk with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) about getting Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) out of the hospital.
This is a fun twist since he was furious with Michael not too long ago, but since he has a use Victor is willing to forgive and forget.
He’ll have a harder time convincing Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) using her daughter is in the best interest for everyone. To further his plan, he’ll pay Claire a visit to get her on his side.
He’ll explain that he’ll protect her and get her the best therapists, but most importantly he’ll explain how it’s great to have another granddaughter and she belongs with her family.
He’ll leave her to think it over, but there’s no denying the giant carrot he’s dangling in front of her and it doesn’t bother him if it undoes the progress she’s made.
He’s already said she’s not as important as Nikki, meaning she’s just another pawn. She’d better get used to this as a member of the Newmans.
