‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that star Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) recently shared some very wise words along with his post-election thoughts on his Twitter account. And yes, this is something that you might want to read thoroughly. Here’s what he has to say.

After it was announced that Joe Biden would become the next President of the United States, Eric Braeden, along with many other daytime television stars, took to their social media accounts to share their thoughts about the election and the election results.

Eric started off his post by saying, “I was fundamentally formed by my early years in sports! I have learned NEVER TO GLOAT! And I still adhere to that core sentiment! I have learned to shake hands after bitter fights, it’s WHAT A MAN DOES! I loved tonight’s speeches talking about INCLUSIVENESS! THAT IS THE AMERICA. They can point to the disarray in the leading democracy!!let’s tell them to F… OFF! We had an orderly election, now let us reach across the aisle, let us shake hands with those whose politics we disagree with, let us remind ourselves this is the MOST SUCCESSFUL DEMOCRACY.”

The legendary actor continued, “In the world, and we won’t let anyone rent it asunder!! I am proud of this country! Let bygones be bygones and let’s move on! Fellow Americans, you need to be reminded how respected and envied we are and were! And let us Continue to disagree…in a civilized manner, BY VOTING!”

Eric then said that while he’s not a fan of gloating, he’s absolutely happy with the results of the election. Of course, many of his Twitter followers commented on the matter with, “I pray our country follows what you were taught, don’t gloat! Meanness and hatred needs to stop…let our country rise up and heal! God bless,” along with, “So true…gloating is never wise in any situation…I am so happy to have Biden/Harris but in spite of all the indecency, wreckage and disregard of life the last 4 years half the country voted for more of it…there is much work to be done.”

Another fan wrote, “You are so right Eric. Respect for each other is the name of the game. Hopefully we can get the country up and running. God BLESS AMERICA.”
