CBS ‘The Young and The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tell that is it time for some soap stars, like The Young and the Restless’ Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) to maybe cooldown on some of their political rants on social media! That’s what some fans are thinking, especially after an argument escalated to an all-new level about citizens wearing masks on Eric’s Twitter feed.
That, and Eric has definitely expressed his very strong feels about the state of politics many times before. Here’s what you need to know.
As much as Eric likes to share his political opinions on Twitter, a lot of his longtime fans have also expressed their feelings about the matter and how they wish the actor would calm down his rhetoric, especially when it comes to the current administration in the White House.
Who the hell writes these speeches for our fearless leader?? I can only think of STEVEN MILLER!! The fear mongerer! The evil whisperer!! Nothing but negative SHIT!! The boy is getting even for having been made fun of at SAMO HIGH! What country is he living in? SCHMUCK!!!

CBS ‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers: Is It Time For Eric Braeden To Stop This Political Rants On Twitter?
Many comments from disgruntled Y&R viewers and fans have written comments on Eric’s Twitter account that have included, “Such an angry man! Quit watching The Young and the Restless this year because of your posts. Life is too short to have so much hate in your heart,” along with, “Honestly… me too, because of Eric Braeden and I’ve been watching since the beginning. It’s just sad.”
Another fan wrote, “I’m 64 years old and I have watched The Young and the Restless since I was in high school. Eric was my idol but since his political rants and now this, I stopped watching as well. He is so not what I thought.”
While Eric hasn’t said anything directly about the criticism, he did offer this after one heated discussion about masks got to be a little too much for some of his Twitter fans. He wrote, “I am thankful to you for engaging in sometimes heated exchanges! It’s the times we live in!
But we are adults and sometimes disagree! I have good friends with all different political opinions! They are still friends! We all love this country, that’s what’s important!”
