‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) is up there in age. That’s no secret. More and more lately the topic of retirement seems to be coming up, and time and time again the actor seems to bat that idea down. This time with a funny video about those who buy sports cars after retirement.
In the video, we see an older fan as he gets stuck in a car, unable to get out, and has to end up crawling out as his face is flushed with laughter. It’s a silly video and Braeden captions it with,
“That’s why I’m not considering retirement!”

Fans rejoiced around the idea of the veteran not retiring, commenting on the tweet, “They may as well take the young and the restless off the air if you retire Mr. Breaden. No other actor on this planet can take your place. Big Fan since The Rat Patrol!!!”, “Slightly Laughing, Now that was a very silly purchase, I’d like to see just how he got himself in there in the first place!”, “Thank goodness! There would be no Y&R without you!”, “I’m so happy you said that. Victor is one of the main reasons I’ve watched so long.”, “Yes, Eric, you don’t want to zoom around in one of those sports car.”, “YOUR RIGHT MR. B. NO RETIREMENT FOR YOU . Braeden has been a staple of the series for decades and it will be a cold day in hell when he leaves. For now though, we can rejoice in the fact that he plans to stick around.
