‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) may have just been provoked to the point of destruction by her nemesis, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Plan
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) put a plan together to get revenge on Diane. While viewers were not privy to the details of the plan, Phyllis said that it had to be done carefully so it would be successful.
They also mentioned that they were going to run a similar scheme to Diane’s but do it better. That made us curious, wondering if they were going to frame Diane for murder or for theft.
While the plan hasn’t been revealed, Stark did steal Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) cell phone and he may have stolen Diane’s engagement ring from Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) pocket while at the gala. Although the details of their plan aren’t known, things may have gone better for them than they ever expected.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Provoked
Phyllis lures Diane up to a suite under false pretenses and then they get into a verbal battle. Diane says she wants to leave, but Phyllis won’t let her. They argue with one another and threaten one another, but there is still no indication of what Phyllis and Stark are planning for Diane.
When Diane tries to leave, Phyllis pushes her to the sofa. They attack one another verbally and Diane tells Phyllis to get out of her way. She tries to leave but Phyllis grabs her arm. Diane smacks Phyllis across the face and then they start to fight in earnest.
Diane gets the upper hand, pushing Phyllis back on the desk, her hands at her throat. As she does, she says she should do the world a favor and strangle Phyllis to death. Just as she makes this pronouncement, Jack, Kyle and Summer (Allison Lanier) walk in the room.
This is perfect for Phyllis, even if this was not their plan. Diane has been trying to convince everyone that she has changed. Now she is attacking Phyllis like she wants to kill her.
She let Phyllis provoke her to a point where she is going to find it very difficult to explain herself. This may be all that Phyllis and Stark have to do to get rid of Diane. What do you think? Is it over for Diane? Share your thoughts below!
