‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicate that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) are not as being as careful as they should be in their plan to destroy Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Jeremy’s Errors
Jeremy Stark has already started the plan in motion. After setting up a suite upstairs, he commenced to steal some things that they need from the gala below. They needed Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) phone, and the engagement ring Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is about to give Diane.
When he went down to the party, he wore a mask that covered his entire face. While that was good, he didn’t disguise himself as a waiter or a caterer. Instead, he walked through the room in a rather furtive manner.
This catches the attention of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) who is in the middle of a discussion with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Tucker sees that this person appears out of place as he goes by, and this could spell disaster for Jeremy and Phyllis.
The method Jeremy used to get the ring from Jack is also really shoddy. Jack had just been challenged to a “dance off” by Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc). If Jeremy had waited and watched, perhaps Jack would have accepted and left his suit jacket on the back of a chair.
This would have provided Jeremy with an unobtrusive way to purloin the ring. Instead, Jeremy crashes between Jack and Diane in a clumsy way. Both of them think it was Stark who ran into them. Jack takes off to try to find out if it was him, instead of staying with Diane to protect her.
Perhaps Jeremy wanted to draw Jack away from Diane, but his method to take the ring was obvious and it could ruin their plan that they want to execute.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis’ Error
Phyllis is successful at drawing Diane up to the suite upstairs. She claims that Kyle is upstairs sick and is calling for his mother. Diane doesn’t believe Phyllis until she can’t reach Kyle on his phone.
When he doesn’t respond, she worries Phyllis might be telling her the truth. Phyllis says she doesn’t have to take her upstairs but can just let Diane go. This is just to get her to go though. In order to put the next part of their plan in motion, she is going to have to get upstairs to trap Diane.
Her error comes as she quickly follows Diane up the stairway without checking first to be sure that she was unobserved. Journalist Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) has been snooping around all evening looking for the best story for the paper.
She witnesses Diane go upstairs and Phyllis follow closely behind. This witness could bring Phyllis and Jeremy’s plan crashing down.
The mistakes are significant. Are Jeremy and Phyllis going to get caught because they have made these mistakes, or will they successfully get revenge on Dianne? Leave your comments below!
