‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that at least for the time being, Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) pregnancy test appears to be positive. She explained that there are many other things going on and that it might be a false positive.
Of course, we are aware of better options than this. We are aware of her pregnancy and the impending birth of the child. Who is the father is the most pressing question? Is it Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow), Adam Newman’s older brother, or Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) himself? What does this mean for the future and will she lie about the father to keep her relationship with Nick?
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Does Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) Pregnancy Mean She’ll Be Staying In Genoa City For A While?
We believe that Sally still has a significant amount of life left in Genoa City, where they want to keep her for some time. With the plot of her impersonating a fatal illness, she was sort of forced out of The Bold and the Beautiful, but with a new beginning in Genoa City, the possibilities are endless.
Sally may make a significant difference in this situation, especially now that she is wed to a Newman for good. Consider a persona like Sharon Rosales, for example (Sharon Case). She has certainly been a part of her fair share of plots, but her relationship with Nick over the years has always kept her relevant.
Sally has rapidly risen to prominence in Genoa City. Even the most stable and well-liked characters couldn’t compete with her effect and plotlines at this point. Hell, she’s already had two of those for sleep! Despite the early hostility and criticism she faced, I believe Sally has been gaining popularity with the audience and will soon become a staple.
The addition of a baby simply prolongs the lifespan of this character, who still has many years left. Sally is a character that will be around to stay and take over in the upcoming season of The Young and the Restless, unless of course there are problems behind the scenes like contract disputes or something.
