‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers imply that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) appear to be on the road to marriage, shockingly with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braden) blessing.

Some fans are Chelsea and Adam shippers, who have wanted them back together for a while. However, many fans have noted that the soap is pushy about wanting viewers to get on board with this pairing.
It was all a bit suspect when Adam cheated on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) with Chelsea the night they spent in Baltimore.
Adam and Chelsea were worried about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), who had been suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Chelsea and Adam ended up sharing a bottle of bourbon and hitting the sheets. Sally and Adam were a hit with the fans. They had more chemistry than Adam and Chelsea, as it looked like Y&R was headed for an epic love story between the two characters.
After Sally learned the truth from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that Adam and Chelsea slept together in Baltimore, Adam admitted he still had feelings for his ex.
At first, Chelsea rejected the idea of a reunion. However, she agreed to move onto the Newman Ranch for Conner’s sake.
After Victor’s stamp of approval, the two rekindled their romance. Apparently, Adam cooking Chelsea dinner was all it took for her to admit she still harbored feelings herself.
In return, Chelsea cooked a meal for Adam, and they started sleeping together again. While it’s true that Chelsea and Adam have matured since they were last together, viewers find themselves asking if they really have a spark that is special enough for the soap to force them on the fans so aggressively.

The consensus is that Chelsea and Adam aren’t really endgame. While it’s wonderful that they decided to repair their family, they still don’t have that “it” factor that it takes to be a super couple.
Sally and Adam were popular because their love story was so genuine and touching. The death of their baby was heartbreaking, and fans thought a miracle might occur and they would eventually have another child.
However, that didn’t happen, and now Adam and Chelsea are back together. Sally and Billy are now also a couple. It wasn’t exactly inspired since Sally and Billy were the respective partners of Chelsea and Adam when they cheated on Billy and Sally.
Adam also plots to take aim at Billy since he believes Billy will try to take down Newman Media. One has to wonder if Adam’s interest in besting Billy has more to do with Sally than it does with business.
We fully expect Adam to propose marriage to Chelsea soon. Adam and Chelsea made the big announcement to the Newman family at the ranch on March 28th that they had reunited.
Adam thanked everyone for their support, and Victor was quick to ask when the wedding would be. We have a feeling it won’t be long until Adam and Chelsea are walking down the aisle. The question is, can they win over the audience before that happens?
